Sasquatchinakwa

Sasquatchinakwa is a large purple sasquatch inhabiting Total Drama Island and is the second-to-most recurring minor character (the most recurring being the Bear). Sasquatchinakwa first appears in "The Big Sleep" where it's revealed there's a whole pack of them although in every following episode there's only one. In the first episode a pack of Sasquatchinakwas are shown studying a sleeping Owen who wandered into their cave by accident and ultimately kick him out when he farts. A Sasquatchinakwa doesn't appear until much later in the series in "Who Can You Trust" when he is seen watching TV in his cave however Sadie who's firing apples uncontrollably hits the TV turning it to static although the sasquatch doesn't seem to notice. (Notably if one listens closely Sasquatchinakwa is listening to the Total Drama Island theme song on TV.) His next appearance is in "No Pain, No Game" where Eva's dare was to spend 10 seconds in a crate with him. Eva however instead of just surviving 10 seconds beats him half to death and rips off the fur on the top of his head, forearms and legs which she then later fashions into hats, gloves and boots which she wears for the remainder of the episode. At the ending Sasquatchinakwa is shown to have stolen Geoff's cowboy hat and is using it to cover his bald spot. Here he's shown to share a cave with the Bear although it's uncertain if it's the same Bear in every episode. Sasquatchinakwa's final appearance is in the episode "Are We There Yeti?" during which he's one of the focal points of the episode and one of the episode's 2 main villains (the other being Chef). Notably here while the remaining campers (who are supposed to find their way out of the woods where Chef dumped them) are terrified of Sasquatchinakwa and even Chef goes so far as to describe him as "one mean mammer-jammer" Sasquatchinakwa is portrayed as being just as afraid of them as they are of him if not more. Nonetheless at the conclusion when Duncan is riding the Boat of Losers Sasquatchinakwa is revealed to be the driver only to rip off a mask revealing him to be Chef only to rip of a mask revealing him to be Sasquatchinakwa etc. This process repeats never-endingly as the episode closes. It's unknown who it really was (although it was probably Chef considering it is very hard for sasquatches to obtain boating licenses) and this was the last time Sasquatchinakwa appears in the Total Drama Island.
Although it's never been confirmed the producers of the show have dropped rumors that Sasquatchinakwa may be returning for Total Drama Action alongside the Bear. This has not been confirmed however.

The bear

The Bear is as his name suggests a bear that is frequently seen in the woods surrounding Camp Wawanakwa and the surrounding areas (e.g. a mysterious island or Boney Island) interacting with the campers. His role will frequently change from a secondary antagonist in the show to a mere bystander. It's also of great debate if each appearance is the same bear or not. The Bear first appeared in The Big Sleep when Tyler had a lack of sleep-induced hallucination where he thought he saw the Bear pop out of a bush and maul Katie and Sadie to death although this was quickly revealed to be a hallucination. He later appeared in The Sucky Outdoors where Izzy first dressed up as the Bear to scare the campers although later the real Bear comes along. Although initially the campers believe it's another trick (this time courtesy of Chris) they do eventually realize it's a real Bear when they recall that Chris said that there were real Bears in the woods and when Owen in an attempt to prove he's a fake rips off a piece of hair and instead it becomes a bald patch. The Bear's next appearance is in Up The Creek where the campers take a ride to Boney Island and when the Screaming Gophers are fleeing from giant beavers the Bear who's rubbing his back against a tree doesn't believe what he saw and puts on a pair of glasses. When the campers then come running back fleeing from giant loons the Bear once more thinks his eyes are fooling him and destroys the glasses. He appears in the following episode "Paintball Deer Hunt" where he gets involved in the plot for the first time when he becomes the cause of Cody getting voted off. When Cody comes across the Bear in the woods he attempts to bribe it with berries at first but instead the Bear mauls him and leaves him in critical condition although he leaves him to finish off some of the potato chips that Cody was carrying (the chips' crumbs were actually what led the Bear to Cody in the first place). He doesn't appear again until much later in the series in the episode "No Pain, No Game" where at the end his name is revealed to Molotov by Chris (although since there's a debate about whether or not it's always the same bear he shall be referred to his adapted name) and he's the professional Russian log-rolling champion for 7 years running. At the climax of the episode where Leshawna has to survive on a log with Molotov for 10 seconds whilst avoiding certain death in piranha-infested water. Eventually though not only does Leshawna survive the given 10 seconds but also speeds up the log much to Molotov's discomfort and then jumps on it causing the log to roll over again whilst the stuck Molotov gets dipped in the piranha water causing him to get all his fur eaten clean off although he survives. At the end of the episode it's revealed he shares a cave with Sasquatchinakwa and he is shown wearing either Katie or Sadie's dress in an attempt to cover up his bald spots and then does their famous, "EEEEEEEE!" complete with clapping hands. In the following episode "Search And Do Not Destroy" where campers have to get keys from various life-threatening situations Owen is forced to get that's wrapped around the Bear's neck much to Owen's chagrin due to his phobia of bears. This ends badly for Owen since at the end of the episode Owen does retrieve the key but then the camera zooms out revealing that the entire lower half of his body is in the Bear's mouth. The bear is quickly subdued when the Camera Crew shoots him with several tranquilizer darts (humorously though one hits Owen giving him a monotonous expression for the remainder of the episode). During the episode "Wawanakwa Gone Wild" the Bear is mentioned frequently but seen only once and very briefly. During the episode Heather is tasked with capturing the Bear but this ends badly for Heather since she gets knocked unconscious with a shot the to the buttocks with a dart gun by Izzy whilst the Bear having been awakened by Duncan runs right past her in a rage. The Bear is seen briefly in Camp Castaways when the campers discover Chris' and Chef's secret campsite the Bear can be briefly seen eating some cake. The Bear's next appearance in the show was in I Triple Dog Dare You where Owen's dare was to give the Bear a purple nurple (much to Owen's chagrin). Owen complies and the Bear is seen chasing Owen out of his cave before rubbing his chest to steady the pain. The Bear's final appearance on the show was in "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island" where he appears as one of the episode's main antagonists (the other 2 being Courtney and Justin) although he isn't seen until the second half of the episode. Here Cody, Tyler, DJ and Owen get tangled up in the tethers of Courtney's hot air balloon although unfortunately the Bear quickly hops on as well. Eventually at the climax of the episode the balloon gets destroyed by a pilotless plane that was hijacked by Justin and although Courtney escapes the Bear is left in the cockpit as the balloon lands in the kitchen. However the Bear nonchalantly walks out and dusts his fur off as if nothing happened thus indicating he survived.
The bear appears in the TDA trailer when Gwen first asks if there will not be explosions, burning buildings, or bears. A building then catches on fire with a bear inside. It then chases Gwen, Trent, and Duncan.TH

Chef Hatchet

Chef Hatchet is the mess hall's chef. Chef is a big, loud, and intimidating man with a permanent sneer on his face. He is an inept cook and bares a humorously distorted resemblance to Samuel L. Jackson, Major Payne, and Roadblock.[citation needed] Aside from cooking the meals, he also assists Chris in tormenting the campers, such as when he dresses up as a spider to scare Leshawna, puts on a sheep costume to help Chris put the campers to sleep, and flies a rickety plane with Owen and Izzy. He enjoys torturing the campers as much as Chris does. Hatchet was in the military, most likely the Navy SEALS. Clues to his career as a Seal include the fowled anchor on his left biceps and the fact that he was called Master Chief in one episode. Also, Chef acts like a stereotypical fatherly soldier such as showing respect for those who've bested him (a feat that only Gwen and Leshawna have achieved). It was mentioned by Chris in the Hide 'n Seek episode (where the campers hid and Chef hunted them down with a squirt gun that was powerful enough to knock Chris 50 yards away) that Chef not only has a high military rank but also has an advanced degree in man hunting. It is all these traits that allow him to hunt down and capture all of the campers (except Leshawna) in under one hour. In fact, he easily found Duncan by sniffing the air, licking the ground, and plucking and studying a piece of grass. Unlike Chris, who befriended a couple of the campers (Owen, Trent, Duncan and Geoff) and will occasionally show some empathy when compassionate campers (such as Bridgette) get voted off, Hatchet hates them all and won't hesitate to kill them. This is quickly demonstrated in the first episode when the campers are eating Chef's revolting hamburgers (which are actually still alive). Geoff asks Chris if he can order out thus prompting Chef to almost decapitate Geoff with a thrown meat cleaver. The only 2 campers he probably has an small amount of respect for are Gwen and Leshawna who are the only 2 campers who bested him at his own game (Gwen was the only camper who got through his boot camp and Leshawna was the only camper who managed to evade him during the game of Hide 'n Seek). Although he has respect only for those who've bested him, he still doesn't like Izzy and Duncan, who were the only two people to defeat him in unarmed combat. Izzy did so during the Hide 'n Seek episode when she easily knocked Chef out for a couple seconds with a single kick after they easily evaded each other's blows. Duncan later bested Chef during a fistfight at the Dock of Shame between the two when Chef dressed up as "The Escaped Psycho Killer With A Chainsaw And A Hook" and was terrorizing the campers in "Hook, Line and Screamer"(Duncan not being aware of Chef's true identity at the time). During the ensuing fight, Duncan managed to disarm Chef of his weapons (his chainsaw and hook), stun him with a punch to the gut, and ultimately forced him to surrender when he picked up the chainsaw. This is very surprising due to the fact that Chef is one of the strongest cast members if not the strongest (rivaled only by DJ and Eva). However, he's never been seen in physical combat but it is assumed that he's quite powerful as demonstrated during his fight against Izzy. He's the tallest recurring cast member in the show (standing about a head above DJ) and the second-to-tallest character on the show (during the aforementioned episode, the real Psycho Killer is shown to be about half-a-head taller than Chef). In the final episode, after throwing Chris into the lake, the campers go after Chef to exact their revenge on him as well.
Even though Chef's meals for the campers are horrible, revolting and incredibly unhealthy, it was actually shown in the castaway challenge and "Are We There Yeti?" that he's actually an adequate cook and just makes horrible dishes to torture the campers. This was shown when he and Chris were having a private party at their personal campsite where Chef personally made a 3-course brunch and an impressed Chris said, "You've outdone yourself, Chef." Hints have also been dropped that Chef is an escaped criminal (like Duncan), such as when Gwen said, "Why do camp chefs always look and act like escaped criminals?" referencing Chef's cruel, inhumane treatment towards them. When Chef was in the Confession Can (during the challenge between Owen and Gwen), he was criticizing the campers, calling them ungrateful. He also says, "I had better jobs in prison!", proving that he was in prison.

Chris MacLean

Chris MacLean is the host of the program and one of the main characters of the series. He speaks with a "skater" accent. Easy-going and somewhat sadistic, he enjoys making the campers suffer and views them with little to no empathy, saying his trademark phrase "Awwwee-some!!!" whenever a challenge is particularly life-threatening. He clearly has no regard for their well-being, remarking that he doesn't care what happens on the show so long as he still gets paid. His talents include speaking and figure skating. According to the season finale, aside from being the show's host, Chris is also the show's writer, background designer, director, executive producer, and assassin (the latter being his task of killing anyone who tries to enter or escape the island). He frequently mentions that he hired interns in the pre-production phase of the show, most of whom died setting up the challenges; like the challengers, he shows no regard or regret for their demise. He also states the interns act as test subjects for his challenges. It's frequently mentioned that Chris does have superiors who insist that he tests his challenges first. Despite this order however it was shown in the finale (the episode between Gwen and Owen) that Chris deems his challenges safe even if the intern dies as demonstrated when the final intern (credited as Chasserocks) falls to his death whilst testing Chris' challenge to cross a gorge with sharks in them he says, "Well, that's safe enough." He also isn't above doing illegal actions to terrify the campers as demonstrated in "X-Treme Torture" and "Brunch of Disgustingness". In the first episode Chris nearly runs over a couple of campers with an airplane and then remarks that he doesn't have a pilot's license. In the Brunch of Disgustingness he also mentions that he made hot dogs out of dolphins which he poached himself despite the fact that killing and eating dolphins is considered illegal in most countries (including Canada). One of the things that frequently makes him angry is when his poorly-made, budget-priced sets are described as poorly-made, budget-priced sets (or the like). Chris is also extremely egotistical if not outright narcissistic his most beloved trait of himself being his hair. A good example of this is in "X-Treme Torture" when he froze the camera and asked if he could get an increase of make-up saying, "I look like I just fell out of bed," despite the fact he's obviously rather groomed. The campers are aware of this trait as they don't believe that there's an "Escaped Psycho Killer With A Chainsaw And A Hook" trapped on the island with them until they realize that Chris in a hurry to leave left behind his hair gel.
It should to be noted that despite having these personality flaws, Chris nonetheless has shown that he has standards, no matter how low they may seem. In fact, Chris is frequently disgusted by Heather's underhandedness, going so far as to chastise her for reading Gwen's diary on live TV, stating that it was "really messed-up." Most of the campers have a large amount of contempt for Chris since his inhumane challenges affect them both physically and emotionally, although Chris actually befriended (and remains relatively friendly with) a few campers who were relatively unfazed by the danger, specifically Owen, Geoff (due to their cheerful, energetic, and easy-going personalities), Duncan (his time in Juvenile Hall has made him used to the kind of mistreatment) and Trent (who has an incredible stroke of bad luck and copes with the danger). In the final episode, a lynch mob of the campers made up of Chris' aforementioned friends, Owen, Geoff, and Duncan get back at Chris and throw him into the lake for making them do all the dangerous challenges of season one. (It was revealed in the following episode that Owen, Geoff, Duncan and Trent are still friends with Chris and actually dissuaded the other campers from doing anything worse than simply dunking him.) Chris will appear in the second season with upgraded facial expressions and a beard.[2]
Chris is most likely based on the host of the show Survivor, Jeff Probst. The outfit Chris wears throughout most of the first season is similar to the one Probst wore during the first season of Survivor.

Katie and Satie

Katie and Sadie dressing alike and spending all their time together. Katie and Sadie became best friends when they first met as next-door neighbors.
Katie likes her best-friend-for-life Sadie, and dislikes being separated from her. Unlike overweight Sadie, Katie is thin and tan. Katie was originally on the Screaming Gophers, but switched with Izzy to be with her friend. Katie joined because it will bring greatness for her and Sadie. Katie was the fifth person voted off the competition because she got her and Sadie lost in "The Sucky Outdoors" challenge. Sadie is voted off later, and finds Katie waiting for her in the Boat of Losers as a happy surprise. Although Katie's fear is unknown, her fear is most probably the same as Sadie's.
Sadie likes her best-friend-for-life Katie, and dislikes being separated from her. Unlike thin Katie, Sadie is overweight and pale, though only Katie herself brings this up. While Katie thinks with her heart, Sadie thinks with her head. Sadie was the tenth person voted off the competition for failing the reversed William Tell shoot off. After being eliminated, Sadie was immediately reunited with Katie in the Boat of Losers. Sadie's fear is bad haircuts. They both have a strong crush on Justin.

Harold

Harold (voiced by Brian Froud) He had the most badges while in Possum Scouts. Despite his odd personality he has very high self-esteem, and is responsible for his team's first two wins. His fear is ninjas, though he appears to be perfectly capable of facing them, as in "Phobia Factor" he tried to fight them with nunchaku (which clunks him on the head) with no sign of fear. He also took figure-skating lessons, which has led to him becoming incredibly agile. It is implied that he possesses martial arts skills (though he may just be faking it to look cool). He is similar to Napoleon Dynamite in voice and personality. For instance, he likes to emphasize words for interjection (ex. "Yes!", "Gosh!", "Idiots!"). He is usually pranked by Duncan, DJ, and Geoff. He gets back at Duncan by switching the ballots and getting Duncan's love interest, Courtney, voted off. Harold is voted off next (Chris stating it was because of karma) after he lost the challenge for his team, having been distracted by seeing Heather's breast after a tree snagged her top. Before he leaves, he confesses his love for LeShawna and they kiss ("Farewell Total Drama Island, I loved, I lost, and I saw boobies, what more could a man ask for?... LeShawna I meant every word of that poem"). Although only a haiku he wrote for LeShawna is shown according to Chris, Chef and Courtney there were more. Later on, during the episode "After the Dock of Shame", Courtney gets back at Harold for having her voted off by beating him senseless with a lamp post she tore off the ground, then wrapping it around his body. In "Total Drama Drama Drama Island" LeShawna tells him their fledging romance was going too fast, in this episode he also reveals he has a sister. He later teams up with Heather during the competition, and though she betrays him at one point, they later reconcile when Heather admits she doesn't like being as mean as she is even though she was probably lying at that pont just to get a ride. His friends on the island are Leshawna and Trent. He used to be friends with Courtney and Ezekiel, but Courtney hated him since he cheated to get her voted off, and Ezekiel called him a traitor for cheating.
Catch Phrase-Aside from raspily emphasizing words like "Yes!," "Duh!" and "Idiots!," Harold often says "Booyah" or "Awesome" after some significant achievement.
Harold will be in Total Drama Action.

Geoff

Geoff (voiced by Dan Petronijevic) is the party guy. He loves to party, and is known as the "neutral" guy by the campers since he gets along with everyone, essentially becoming the team arbiter. His fear is hail. He has a major crush on Bridgete, but fails miserably when it comes to earning her affection. He does and says many things that turn her off. In the special TDI episode, Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island, Geoff and Bridgette are seen making-out in almost every part. As a running gag, Geoff tends to end up doing challenges which, in one way or another, end with him smelling horrible. Geoff also made a craft for Bridgette in an earlier episode, which in the end, wins her over. When Bridgette is eliminated and there is a challenge involving building a bike, he draws a picture of her and tapes it onto his bike, and names the bike Bridgette.
Geoff can be described as somewhat of the Bass equivalent to Trent (whom he's friends with) similar to how Courtney can be described as the Bass equivalent to Heather. Like Trent, Geoff is frequently hurt during the challenges (although not always) such as when he was trying to hit on Bridgette whilst water-skiing Trent ran him over with the motorboat. This trait is most obvious in the episode "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island" where Bridgette's poor coordination on land caused him numerous injuries, most notably being when he fell off of a 1,000 foot cliff (head-first no less). Geoff, after suffering those injuries, admits in the Confession Stall that by the day's end, he thinks that Bridgette will get him killed. Trent and Geoff are also their team's arbiter, the person every body likes and every body's friends with.

Ezekiel

Ezekiel He truly enjoys being home-schooled, as his parents want him away from the evil of the world. His tendency towards isolating himself apparently led to a Vitamin-D deficiency. He joined Total Drama Island under doctor's orders to get more sun. You can find out because he said he saw a bird. Ezekiel was off first for picking his nose and talking smack about girls and ticking off Eva and Bridgette. He's friends with Trent, Katie, Sadie, Beth, and Lindsay.

Catch phrase "well,guys are much stronger and better in sports than girls~"

Eva

Eva With the exception of Leshawna and Duncan, every camper is terrified of her. She is a well-built Polish-Canadian who has been in physical training since she was three years old. She is perhaps the physically strongest member of the entire cast (rivaled only by DJ and Chef). While remaining the strongest on her team, her anger is common to burst out at unexpected moments. It is implied that she lacks a sense of humor as she rarely smiles and is constantly frowning, making her the most humorless of the campers. In fact, she is the only camper not smiling in the group picture. Eva joined to showcase her leadership skills and curb her temper. Her temper eventually gets her voted off. She returns in the episode "No Pain, No Game" because the producers thought it would be funny, and was voted off again in same episode (her death threats towards the other campers didn't help her case any). Recently, she has been taking anger-management. She seems to have a crush on Justin, though she is more than likely just distracted by his physique like the other female contestants.

Eva will not be participating as a contestant in Total Drama Action.

DJ

DJ (voiced by Clé Bennett) The producers saw him push 80 shopping carts at his part-time job. He plans to give his winnings to his mom, so she can fulfill her dream of going back to her hometown. His fear is snakes. He is shown to have a deep respect for nature. He takes in a bunny as a pet, which is extremely accident-prone, and perfectly mimics a deer, though DJ seems like the most peaceful of the campers he did throw Owen off a cliff because Owen was 'hunting' him in the paintball challenge. Indeed as a running gag despite the fact that DJ is the tallest camper (as shown in the aforementioned paintball challenge he has about half-a-head on Owen) and second-to-tallest cast member (Chef Hatchet standing about a head above him) he is somewhat of a coward and rarely uses his strength. Despite his cowardly nature he is nonetheless aware of his strength and will use it to his advantage when the situation calls for it such as throwing Owen off the cliff (as mentioned above) or when Geoff was going paranoid and fleeing from the cafeteria during the "Brunch of Disgustingness" DJ quickly tackled, subdued and calmed him with little apparent effort. He usually helps Geoff when it comes to wooing Bridgette after his common screw ups with her. He has a phobia for scary movies which cost him his loss in "Hook, Line, and Screamer."

DJ will be in TDA.

Duncan

Duncan is the juvenile delinquent with a heart of gold. His fear is Celine Dion music store standees. In his audition tape, he is shown escaping the juvenile detention center. He is one of the most physically powerful campers because of all his time in prison. His strength is demonstrated at the beginning of the cooking challenge episode where as soon as he gets out of bed he begins doing several push-ups without even opening his eyes. In addition to this he's one of the only two people to defeat Chef Hatchet in unarmed combat (in "Hook, Line And Screamer when Chef dressed up as a Psycho Killer, Duncan managed to defeat Chef in mere seconds). Duncan scares or plays tricks on people when ever he can. He is somewhat more civil around Courtney, but still mocks her like everyone else. Duncan usually refers to Courtney as Princess, much to Courtney's chagrin. Duncan consistently tries to get her to admit that she likes him, and is eventually successful in winning her over and gets a kiss in the same episode she is voted off.(Although he has a crush on Courtney he flirts with other girls on the island, probably to tick them off) Unfortunately, Harold rigs the votes to get Courtney voted off so he can get back at Duncan. They kiss again in the last episode. During "Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island", Courtney and Duncan state in different occasions that they love each other and they team up to win the million dollars. Halfway through the competition, Duncan gets injured and Courtney leaves him behind to get the million dollars (though she still promises to split the million dollars if she wins). Duncan actually does have standards as he was one of the few campers who befriended Chris and did other selfless things such as finding DJ a new Bunny when his old one was killed. A good example is during the treasure hunt challenge when Leshawna is telling everyone about how Trent is cheating on Gwen with Heather Duncan was easily the most angered (the others were disappointed but Duncan was especially disgruntled). Later when Heather reveals she couldn't care less for Lindsay who's been vouching for her when Lindsay got voted off Duncan pointed out how evil Heather was and when Heather stated that he's that bad too Duncan replies, "Yeah but at least I'm straight with people." Indeed he rarely fibs although he isn't above intimidating others into voting off someone else (e.g. Bridgette). Duncan was voted off because Chef despised him. His friends on the island were Courtney, Geoff, DJ, Leshawna, Owen, and Gwen.

Courtney

Courtney is the "super competitive over achiever" on the show. A rule loving, uptight girl who's main focus on the show is to win the 100 grand, and doesn't care if she makes friends during the show, however, as the show progresses, Courtney starts letting go of her winning focus and actually makes friends with other campers like Bridgette, Geoff, Gwen, DJ and Duncan. She consistently tells the others that she used to be a Counselor in Training, believing that it gives her an edge in the competition. Though, she is kind of nice and friendly. Its just that she can be so uptight. She is afraid of green jelly because "it's like big, jiggly snot". In her audition tape, Courtney gives a speech on why they should put her in the show, only to mix it up with her speech for her school council campaign. She asks for a retake to which her cameraman Tom, refuses and they argue. Since the begining of the season, Duncan is shown to have a crush on Courtney, which is mutual, however, unlike Duncan, Courtney denies her crush and argues with Duncan all the time because of his disdain for rules. However, by the episode "Basic Straining", Duncan gets Courtney to break a rule by making her help him raid Chef Hatchet's fridge. After the raid, Duncan flirts with Courtney and the two make-out, becoming a couple. However, by the end of the same episode, Harold riggs the votes so that Courtney is kicked off in order to get back at Duncan for pranking him too much. By the final episode of the season, Courtney returns to denying her feelings for Duncan, but nonetheless, she makes out with him after admiting that Duncan's dangerous personality is "hot".Courtney can be called as somewhat (but not really) of a Bass equivalent to Heather as she is manipulative and also has an obvious superiority complex. Courtney's role in the show will frequently change from an anti-hero to an antagonist. During her time as a regular competitor she didn't do anything too evil the worst being when she manipulated events to get Sadie voted off. However in the episode "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island" she becomes much more ruthless than before and is actually one of the episode's main antagonists (the other 2 being Justin and the Bear)when she betrays the injured Duncan and runs off with the million dollars. At the climax of the episode she hijacks a hot air balloon from the Camera Crew and threatens to let Owen, Cody, DJ and Tyler who get tangled up in one of the tethers fall to their deaths if they don't give her the million dollars (which they were in possession of at that point in time). The boys however escape whilst Courtney gets trapped in the cockpit with the Bear much to her horror.
Although in Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island, Courtney was not one of the 14 contestants that tied for the million dollar case, there have been speculations of her appearences in Total Drama Action, with a trailer including clips from the alledged season premiere which turned out to be simply clips from Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island. Since then no confirmations have been made whether she will participate as the 15th contestant or not.

Bridgette

Bridgette She is compassionate and has a knack for surfing. Her fear is being in the woods alone. She is not very coordinated on land, which has cost her team on multiple occasions (such as burning the teams' tent down or nearly crushing Courtney). Bridgette has a talent for hand stands, able to maintain one for twenty minutes. She has a crush on Geoff, but he has a habit of saying the wrong thing, which turns her off. She soon likes Geoff but gets voted off for being accused of being smart, hot, and good at sports by the guys (except Geoff). On "After The Dock of Shame" Bridgette and Geoff are found making out in the hot tub with Ezekiel trying to kiss Bridgette. In "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island", she caused Geoff's eye to swell, gave him a serious lump, and pushed Geoff into an injured baby moose, causing it's parent to attack them both.

Owen The winner

===Owen=== Owen the winner of Total Drama Island also known as (296 lbs. of fart and joy) He has a very big appetite, which results in a farting problem. In fact, in the hunting episode Duncan mocked him by calling him "Farticus." In addition to that Owen's the only camper who actually enjoys Chef's revolting food insisting on eating seconds and eating other's food when they refuse to eat it as shown in the episode "X-Treme Torture". The only time Owen disliked any food from Chef was during the "Brunch of Disgustingness" episode when he refused to eat Chef's meatballs (which literally were the testicles of castrated [[bulls]]) and soup which was full of Chef's puke after he drank 5 gallons of malt liquor (although this is only in the Canadian version and the reason for the green liquid in the American version is left ambiguous) bunions and toenail clippings. He joined because he loves summer camp. He often says stupid things that involve his love for food. He likes Izzy and they make out behind a bush in "Hook Line and Screamer" Owen has a liking to every camper on the island, and the only person that made Owen angry was Heather because she made fun of Izzy. Owen wins the first season of Total Drama Island. In "Total Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island", Owen gives up his $100,000 winnings and risks it against all the Total Drama Island losers in a race to obtain a case with $1,000,000 in it.

Noah

===Noah===Noah A [[sardonicismsardonic]], [[rudenessrude]], [[cynical]], [[pessimismpessimistic]], and manipulative teen genius who enjoys actions which do not require physical efforts, such as sitting, reading, and lying down. He joined because he wants to apply skills from fantasy-land survival video games to the real world. He was the third person to be voted off in the competition and first overall for the Screaming Gophers because he wouldn't participate in the dodge ball challenge, and also he didn't even show team spirit, as well as criticizing his teammates for failing. He once said that he had a yellow Labrador dog in "Haut Camp-Ture (After The Dock Of Shame)" when he was making fun of Courtney's obvious crush on Duncan ("My yellow lab drools less over a ribeye steak"). Like Heather, he disdains others and they disdain him, especially Justin, Leshawna, Gwen, and Duncan. In "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island", he called Justin the "anti-me". Though hating most of the campers, Noah sustains some sort of friendship with Eva and Izzy.

Noah will not be participating in Total Drama Action.

Lindsay

===Lindsay===Lindsay is very slow and had caused her team many losses due to her stupidity, however, she has many unexplainable talents which do sometimes lead her team to victory. She has a crush on Tyler. She was a part of Heather's alliance on the Screaming Gophers along with Beth. While Beth quit the alliance, and later got eliminated, Lindsay stayed loyal to Heather until Heather abandoned her for invincibility. Lindsay insults Heather with a long rant peppered with expletives and a middle finger gesture. While Heather admits that she didn't really like her in that same episode, Lindsay is the only camper that Heather actually considered a friend, she even apologized to her and Beth in "Camp Castaways" in the confessional stall. She is also known for representing a stereotypically dumb blonde.
Lindsay will be in Total Drama Action.

Leshawna

===LeShawna===LeShawna She is an African-Canadian who hates people giving her attitude. She refers to everyone as "White Boy/Girl", when appropriate. She devises revenge pranks on those who bully others, such as Heather (one of the two people she truly hates, the other being Noah). She is voted off in "After the Dock of Shame" when Chris asks each loser to pick one camper, and tricks them into saying her name, which counted as votes against her. Harold has a crush on her, which she finds out about when he is voted off, and they kiss right before he leaves. Later, though, when they meet again, LeShawna says that she only kissed him because of his elimination. Her best friend on the island is Gwen, and her other friends are Bridgette, Beth, Lindsay, Harold, Trent, Duncan, Courtney, and both Katie and Sadie.

Heather

===Heather===Heather is the stereotypical spoiled rich girl, and one of the main antagonists of the series. She is a [[snob]] who is most likely named after the 1989 movie ''[[Heathers]]''. She is constantly cruel to Chris and the other campers. According to Eva, Heather intends to win by [[cheating]]. In "Haut Camp-ture", Eva pointed this out by calling Heather a scum-sucking, backstabbing witch. In fact just about every camper openly hates her. Heather formed the first alliance with Lindsay and Beth early in the series. She is responsible for several campers' getting voted off the island. She has won more invincibilities than any other player. In "I Triple Dog Dare You" she was eliminated because she refused to get her head shaved by Chef (but got it shaved by accident anyway). In the following episode (the 'finals' between Gwen and Owen), Heather cheats to get Owen to win since her hatred for Gwen outmatches her hatred for Owen and thus uses underhanded techniques (like always) to get Gwen defeated or killed such as buttering her climbing pole, distracting her with Justin's body over a [[gorge]] filled with sharks, and attempting to get Gwen to eat a [[cupcake]] laced with [[laxative]]s whilst disguising it as a good luck present from Trent (although it gets eaten by Owen instead).(Throughout the series heather and gwen hate each other and constantly to harm each other) In "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island", she betrays Harold by using the glider he built to get to the dock with the suitcase off the cliff, but it backfires when the glider breaks and she falls off the cliff,she lands headfirst in a [[beaver]] dam she gets beat up by the [[beaver]]s one sits on her [[butt]] and gives her a [[spanking]] with its tail another in the dam continually punches her in the face. Later on, she tells Harold that deep down she hates being mean all the time and that it's sort of become a hobby for her. Heather seems to have a great dislike for every camper, with the exception of Lindsay,Courtney, and Noah. Harold, on the other hand, seems to understand why Heather acts the way she does, and even forgives her for stealing the glider and lets her on his raft, "for a 60/40 split." The reason Harold thinks she is snobby is because she either has divorced parents, or was once fat and had lots of pimples. She was probably fat & Pimply because in her video message from home, both her parents showed no sign of divorce. Heather has a dislike for every camper, with the exception of Lindsay, Beth, Courtney, and Noah.
Catch Phrase: "Well at least I'm popular."
Heather will be in Total Drama Action. She is shown in some scenes of the TDA trailer that she still has her wig, but in other scenes, she is shown as having her original hairstyle, implying her hair has grown back.

Cody

===Cody===Cody has a major crush on Gwen. He flirts with her countless times. Cody continues to have feelings for Gwen even though he helped Gwen get together with Trent. In "Paint ball Deer Hunter" Cody is mauled by a bear and even though he believed his team wouldn't vote him off, he was voted off because they believed that he would be useless in future challenges. He was one of the most useful members in the Screaming Gophers, as well as one of the most disaster prone, as he is hit in the testicles by a dodge ball (he was trying to protect Gwen), urinated in his pants during the camping challenge (twice), covered in garbage in the phobia challenge, being mauled by a bear in his last moment on the team, and got badly sunburned in "After the Dock of Shame". his being disaster-prone is equal to Trent being accident-prone. His close friends from the show are Gwen, Trent, Owen, and Beth. In "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island" Cody teams up with Owen, DJ, and Tyler to find the suitcase with the million dollars. When they don't trust each other with the case, Cody binds himself to the other three with a rope so they can keep an eye on each other. Sadly, Owen had to go "Number 2" a minute later and at the end when the dock fell Owen and DJ also fall in the pool but Cody or Tyler did not fall in.
Catch Phrase - "I see the ladies have already arrived. All right!"

Beth

===Beth===Beth fills the kind hearted nerd stereotype. Beth joins in an alliance with Lindsay and Heather in episode "The Big Sleep". In the episode "Up the Creek", she finds a magic tiki doll on Bony Island, having missed Chris' announcement that anything taken from the island is supposed to be cursed. In the next episode, "Paint Ball Deer Hunter," she becomes so tired of Heather bossing her around that she rebels and is kicked out of the alliance. During the subsequent food challenge---the third loss in a row for her team---the other Gophers find out about the tiki idol; that, apparently combined with Heather's hatred of her, causes her to be voted off. She came in 14th place.
Beth is friends with Lindsay and Owen, and becomes close to Leshawna due to their mutual dislike of Heather. She also seems friendly with Cody; she even kisses him on the cheek after he is eliminated, leading some to suspect she likes him. (She is also seen with an apparent crush on Trent in "Up the Creek.") Along with Lindsay, she teams up with Ezekiel during the "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island" challenge, though somewhat reluctantly because of his past sexism. She is a parody of Ugly Betty. Beth gets her braces removed in TDA.

Gwen

===Gwen===Gwen is labeled as 'the goth girl', although 'misunderstood' is more accurate. She came in 2nd place making it to the last challenge in "It's the Very Last Episode, Really" where she lost to Owen. Gwen had a crush on Trent up until he accidentally left her buried alive in "Phobia Factor". She was in a [[love triangle]] with Trent and Cody, but she only liked Trent, and saw Cody to be more of a friend, or on other occasions, a "really annoying little brother". The triangle ended when Cody was mauled by a bear and voted off, but another one started when Heather kissed Trent in front of her. Gwen and Heather had a strong hate for each other throughout the series, and will do almost anything to inflict some sort of pain onto the other. Aside from Heather, she also hates Noah, possibly for the same reason as Leshawna. In the episode "Search and Do Not Destroy", Gwen and Trent kiss, but Trent gets voted off because Heather kissed Trent in front of Gwen to create the short love triangle that quickly ruined Gwen and Trent's relationship. They go out again in "The Very Last Episode, Really", where she agrees to go out with him. Her friends on the island are Trent (her love interest), LeShawna (her bff), Owen, Cody, Bridgette, DJ and Geoff. She loves sketching and writing in her journal.

Justin

Justin The "Hottie" of the show. He does not talk much. His largest speaking role is in Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island, where he talks quite a lot and, seems more mean then usaul, is shown to be manipulative with his physique (especially to the female contestants and Owen). Izzy says that she dated him at some point, but broke up with him because he was a liar. All the girls on the island are amazed by his beauty. Heather uses him by ripping off his shirt in the finale to distract Gwen, but it backfires and Owen is also distracted. In Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island, he agrees that his looks give him a large edge in the competition and throughout the episode he has been using his looks on the other girl competitors and Owen. In this episode Justin is portrayed as being much more ruthless than before and is portrayed as one of the episode's 3 main antagonists (the other 2 being Courtney and the Bear). He is indirectly responsible for the destruction of the million dollars since when he jumped out of a plane he hijacked from Chef during the middle of a brawl between all the campers for possession of the suitcase containing the money the pilotless plane crashes into a the structure where all the campers are causing him and every other camper (except for Ezekiel, Eva, Noah, Katie, Sadie, Tyler, Cody and Courtney) to land in the lake where a shark devours the case.
Justin will be in Total Drama Action. It has been implied that he will actually take over Heather's role as the main antagonist.
Noah refers to him as the "Anti me" because he's very much like the opposite of him (Noah being intelligent and not liked by most anyone while Justin is "hot" and loved by all of the girls and Owen).

Izzy

===Izzy ===[[ also known as "crazy, insane girl", knows a lot about nature and has a habit of lying. When she was voted off the first time, it was because the [[Royal Canadian Mounted PoliceRCMP]] arrived to arrest her. After she and Eva returned, it appeared she had formed an alliance with Heather (which only lasted that episode). It seems she and Owen both like each other, until he pushed her in the way of the escaped psycho killer in "Hook, Line and Screamer." She kept a grudge against him after this, until the last two episodes, when Owen kisses her multiple times in "The very Last Episode, Really", and she hangs out with him in "Total Drama Drama Drama Drama Island". Izzy is realizing she shot Heather and Chef with tranquilizers darts. When Eva was voted off again, she tried to say she didn't really leave, but Izzy interrupted. She claimed in an interview with Chris that she and Justin dated but broke up because he's a liar. Her friends on the island are Owen, Lindsay, Eva, and Noah. Also, Izzy wants to change her name to Kaleidoscope, or E-Scope for short.
